This role sits at the intersection of technology, solution design, and consultative selling, supporting enterprise customers in the billing and monetization space. You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, helping prospects translate complex business needs into scalable, high-performing solutions. The position involves leading technical discovery sessions, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and shaping solution architecture across SaaS, hybrid, and on-premise environments. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, R&D, and delivery teams to design compelling proposals that address customer challenges and drive revenue growth. A strong focus is placed on technical validation, including proof-of-concept execution and competitive positioning. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role in a fast-moving enterprise software environment where clarity, technical depth, and storytelling directly influence business outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and executive-level presentations, translating complex billing and monetization capabilities into clear business value.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations showcasing advanced functionalities such as usage-based billing, rating engines, invoicing, collections, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor across the sales cycle, supporting qualification, solution design, negotiation, and closing activities.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with customer requirements, including integration models, deployment approaches, and infrastructure options.
- Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Professional Services to develop solution designs, architecture diagrams, Statements of Work, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) activities to validate solution fit, performance, scalability, and integration with customer ecosystems.
- Prepare and contribute to RFP/RFI responses and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and competitive differentiation.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and identify expansion opportunities through deep technical and business discovery.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, product management, or technical consulting, ideally within telecom, utilities, or enterprise billing domains.
- Strong expertise in billing systems, usage-based rating models, invoicing processes, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven ability to design scalable solutions for complex technical and business environments.
- Experience supporting RFP/RFI processes and producing high-quality technical documentation and proposals.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, hybrid, and on-premise deployment models and architecture principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business and executive audiences.
- Consultative mindset with strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and strategic sales processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
