The Sr. Manager, Vision Care Account Management is primarily responsible for leading the key account management department, maintaining strategic consumer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will guide account planning, ensure consumer needs are met, and drive growth strategies. Specifics include:
Lead and oversee activities of the entire key account management department
Grow and maintain relationships with strategically important and large consumers
Lead strategic account planning processes and develop performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones
Develop and implement consumer growth plans and account-specific growth strategies and approaches
Assess, clarify, and validate consumer needs regularly, developing solutions that address these needs by coordinating the involvement of necessary business personnel
Understand the competitive market to acquire and retain high-value consumers
Develop industry-leading relationships with external key account contacts to ensure constant leads on potential key clients
Work closely with senior sales management and other key stakeholders to support the field sales team and establish departmental strategies, goals, and targets
Measure the department’s performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide crucial information for the strategic development of the business
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
· Minimum 8 years of Sales & Marketing experience, including proven success in commercial management roles.
· Experience in Eye Care, Medical Devices, or FMCG.
· Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing and inspiring teams.
· Excellent crossfunctional collaboration skills.
· Customercentric mindset with strong business acumen.
· Native or strong Spanish required, English mandatory for European collaboration.
· Portuguese is a plus.
· Based in Barcelona.
· Field based role with frequent travel.
