What You'll Do

As a Partner Account Executive / Distribution Account Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering a well-managed, profitable, and growing business through premier relationship management and sales-excellence practices. You will act as a trusted advisor to our distributor partners, driving sales excellence across relationship management, coverage, and business management. By demonstrating Cisco's tools, processes, executive engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, you will foster strong, trusted advisor relationships that lead to high customer satisfaction and the achievement of mutual goals. This role is critical in driving Cisco's Distribution Motion, developing strategies to increase reach through Tier 2 reseller partners, and building Cisco architecture platforms to accelerate bookings and revenue. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Distributor Partnership & Growth: Lead the strategic development and execution of Cisco's Distribution Motion, focusing on increasing Tier 2 reseller partner reach and driving bookings and revenue growth across Cisco's architecture platforms.

2-Tier Partner Network Development: Collaborate closely with assigned distributors to effectively deliver Cisco Solutions and cultivate a robust 2-Tier partner network, significantly enhancing market penetration and revenue generation.

Service & Offer Innovation: Champion the creation and acceleration of services and offers, strategically aligning them with priority market segments to deliver exceptional growth and value for both Cisco and its partners. Drive sales enablement and service acceleration initiatives.

Capacity Building & Technology Adoption: Leverage Cisco's Distributor Development & Investment Programs to significantly increase partner capacity and drive the adoption of new technologies. Incubate, accelerate, and scale innovative technology practices within the partner ecosystem.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive GTM plans with distributors for each segment and architecture. Establish and manage robust pipeline and forecast processes aligned with defined metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Wallet Share Expansion: Orchestrate seamless collaboration with Cisco Segment Account Managers (AMs) and Sales Engineers (SEs) to drive critical initiatives and expand Cisco's wallet share within designated territories.

Market & Program Intelligence: Cultivate a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and Cisco's partner programs to inform strategic decision-making and optimize partner engagement.

Executive Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, influential relationships with senior executives and key business decision-makers within partner organizations, positioning Cisco as a trusted strategic partner and advisor.

Who You Are

You are a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in channel management and strategic account development. You possess:

Strategic Competence: Ability to develop and execute complex Business-to-Business (B2B) strategies for improving market reach and revenue.

Trusted Advisor: Exceptional ability to cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships, consistently acting as a trusted advisor to distributor partners.

Sales Excellence Driver: A passion for driving sales excellence through effective relationship management, optimized coverage, and robust business management practices.

Collaborative Leader: Highly skilled in coordinating and collaborating with diverse internal and external teams (e.g., Cisco AMs, SEs, distributor sales teams).

Influential Communicator: Proven ability to influence partner decision-making processes and guide them toward Cisco's solutions and strategic objectives.

Market Insight: Deep understanding of market trends, partner programs, and the ability to translate insights into actionable GTM plans and growth strategies.

Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to manage pipelines, forecasts, and consistently achieve aggressive growth targets.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or

Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience in channel sales, distribution management, or strategic account management within the technology industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience with 2-Tier distribution models and Business-to-Business (B2B) sales strategies.

Strong understanding of Cisco's product portfolio and architectural solutions.

Demonstrated ability to drive service and offer creation and sales enablement programs.

Experience in developing and managing complex Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and forecasting processes.

Based in Mumbai, India, with experience managing key distributors in the region.
