Partner Development Manager (Japanese, English)
Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. You will educate our partners on the power of Google Cloud and enable them to be successful in driving innovation to our customers.
As a Partner Development Manager, you will be responsible for recruitment, growth, and creation of new practice areas and offerings for the ecosystem of named partners in Japan. You'll create and manage executive relationships with existing and new partners, offering them strategic advice and thought leadership. You'll also develop close relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Partner Engineers, Field Sales Representatives, and Customer Engineers, to grow the relevance and impact of assigned partners to the Google Cloud Business.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in the IT industry, including 5 years of experience in the cloud industry.
- Experience building partner ecosystems for partners, mid-market integrators, cloud integrators, specialized boutique partners, and global system integrators.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience delivering go-to-market strategies and results.
- Experience with the cloud ecosystem and presenting to executive audiences.
- Experience maintaining existing relationships with partners in the specific market being covered.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of system integrators/service providers, independent software vendors, and public cloud solutions across software/platform/infrastructure-as-a-service.
- Excellent communication skills.
