Overview of the Role

Join Salesforce as an Enterprise Account Executive within our Media & Communication team. In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with existing customers and new leads across Germany. Your main function is to help these companies transform their businesses by leveraging the full power of the Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, building strong connections with day-to-day team members and C-suite executives alike to ensure they realize the maximum value from their Salesforce investments.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Action: Lead the end-to-end sales process by prospecting new opportunities, qualifying warm leads, and aligning internal resources—like Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and Partners—to support your deals.

  • Strategy & Planning: Research your territory to build a solid go-to-market strategy and formalize a qualified target account list within your first 30 days.

  • Long-Term Goals: Develop and execute long-term account strategies that align directly with your customers' business objectives, driving continuous growth within your assigned accounts.

  • Impact & Growth: You will directly impact customer satisfaction and success across the German media industry, gaining deep enterprise sales experience and mastering the art of high-level ecosystem orchestration.

Required Qualifications

  • Account Planning & Strategy: Proven ability to build effective sales plans, identify new opportunities, and qualify leads efficiently.

  • Research & Discovery: Skilled at uncovering a prospect’s current processes, deep business challenges, and strategic goals using value-based hypotheses.

  • Solutioning: Strong understanding of technology solutions with the ability to map them to compelling customer value propositions.

  • Communication: Fluent in both German and English. Excellent presentation and communication skills across various tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Slides, whiteboarding).

  • Resource & Team Selling: Experience collaborating with cross-functional account teams, partners, and internal resources to drive customer success.

  • Note: Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies, including professional roles, extracurricular leadership, military experience, or volunteer work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Formal education or training in established Sales Methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases, define service requirements, and lead strategic alliances.
