Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Sales Operations Analyst to support sales performance management, pipeline governance, forecasting discipline, and commercial reporting across the region. This role will partner closely with country commercial teams, sales managers, and regional leadership to provide actionable insights, improve SFDC hygiene, and drive consistent execution across key sales processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reporting key commercial metrics, including past due opportunities, funnel size, win rate, new opportunities, customer meeting activities, pipeline movement, and forecast-related analysis. The role requires strong data accuracy, business partnering, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into clear actions for country teams and commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and report regular sales operations dashboards and performance reports covering funnel size, new opportunities, win rate, customer meetings, pipeline movement, and forecast health.
  • Monitor and report out past due opportunities, aging opportunities, close-date slippage, inactive pipeline, and other SFDC hygiene gaps.
  • Partner with country sales teams to review pipeline quality, opportunity progression, forecast assumptions, and required follow-up actions.
  • Support regular commercial operating mechanisms, including country pipeline reviews, forecast calls, sales performance reviews, and regional leadership updates.
  • Analyze sales funnel health by country, product line, sales owner, stage, close date, and opportunity type to identify risks, gaps, and improvement areas.
  • Track new opportunity creation and conversion trends to support demand generation and pipeline sufficiency discussions.
  • Monitor win rate performance and provide insights by segment, product line, region, sales team, or opportunity source.
  • Support reporting on customer engagement activities, including customer meetings and sales activity tracking, to improve visibility of commercial execution.
  • Drive SFDC data hygiene by identifying missing, inaccurate, outdated, or inconsistent opportunity information and following up with relevant sales owners.
  • Work with sales managers and country teams to ensure timely updates of opportunity stages, close dates, probability, revenue values, customer information, and next steps.
  • Prepare clear and concise insights and action summaries for commercial calls, leadership meetings, and country reviews.
  • Present findings, risks, and recommendations confidently in commercial forums.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to simplify reporting, improve data quality, and standardize sales operations practices across countries.
  • Collaborate with regional Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Marketing, and Business Unit teams where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Excellence, Finance Analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce.com / SFDC reporting and pipeline management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and convert insights into clear business actions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and large data set analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboarding / visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare leadership-ready summaries and business review materials.
  • Good understanding of sales funnel management, opportunity lifecycle, forecasting, and commercial KPIs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to follow up with sales teams and present in commercial calls.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work across countries, functions, and time zones in a matrix environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage recurring reporting cycles and ad hoc requests.
