Job Title: Medical Engagement Manager (m/f/d)


Job Purpose:

The role of the Medical Engagement Manager in Germany is a customer-facing position that primarily involves project development/Execution and collaboration with infectious disease specialists, pharmacists, and nurses. The projects include organizing medical training events for healthcare professionals and nurses, as well as hosting webinars for these HCPs.

  • Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and clinical experts.

  • Deliver balanced, non-promotional medical information and education in one-to-one and small group settings.

  • Gather and share clinical insights to inform medical strategy and clinical development.

  • Support identification and assessment of clinical trial sites and advise on scientific aspects of studies.

  • Contribute to medical materials review to ensure factual, balanced and compliant content.

  • Represent the medical team at scientific meetings, advisory boards and internal cross-functional forums.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and clinical experts.

Basic Qualification:

  • University degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (e.g., biology, pharmacy, chemistry, medicine).

  • Years experience in medical affairs, clinical practice, or similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data clearly and accurately.

  • Deliver presentations and engage peers in evidence‑based discussions.

  • Proactivity, Creativity, Teamwork / collaboration.

  • Knowledge of the German market and regulatory requirements.

  • Confident, communicative, and able to engage actively.

  • Fluent German and business-level English, both written and spoken.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Germany (role is field-based).


Preferred Qualification:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or specialist medical qualification).

  • Project management skills

  • Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor.

  • Experience supporting clinical trials or investigator-initiated research.

  • Familiarity with omnichannel engagement tools and digital communication methods.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within a regulated environment.

  • Maintain and engage a network of clinical contacts within the relevant therapeutic area.


Work Arrangements:
This is a field-based role with regular visits across Germany.
Working model: hybrid, with a mix of on-site, field and remote work as required.
Travel: frequent regional travel and occasional national meetings.
