Job Description
What’s it all about?
Responsible for actively managing the relationship with new and existing Bulgarian clients, to drive business development and growth through collaboration by leveraging Visa capabilities, resources, services and products.
What we expect of you, day to day:
- Develop the annual business account strategy and plans and work for the execution of these plans for the assigned accounts, managing the actions, project and initiatives that will be required for their portfolio of products and services and business performance.
- Manage the partnership agreements with the clients in scope, aiming at delivering the business growth and performance targets and capturing new opportunities with the clients. Participating and supporting the Visa Bulgaria team in market development activities and initiatives to further Visa’s objectives and targets in the market, including supporting the local multi-member Client forum operations (i.e. Client Council, Working Groups).
- Ensure the retention and growth of Visa’s business in the market and proactively develop incremental business streams and partnerships. Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
- Working alongside clients and the Visa teams in the market, liaising with multiple stakeholders with the aim of growing the business through collaboration, building quality, deepen relationships and innovation. Monitor and analyse the performance of the market and the clients, suggesting ways to develop existing business and bring in new business, improve performance and grow volume, transactions and revenues.
- Identify client opportunities for new products/services enabling business improvement and growth in line with the market’s business objectives and priorities. Engage with colleagues across Visa, ensuring teams such as marketing, products, merchant sales & acquiring, innovation, operations and consulting are timely and appropriately involved and informed about client opportunities and issues, endeavouring to break down silos and work together as “One Visa”
- You will develop excellent knowledge of Visa products and services and understand the impact of your specialty area on client business
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
What we’re after:
Deep commercial acumen coupled with comprehensive financial and business analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge and experience in the payments industry and in the financial services areas. A passion for innovation and technology, and in particular fintech and payments
Ability to become a respected and valued partner at multiple levels within the Client. Understand the value of client engagement and have a sales-focused and pragmatic view with the aptitude to identify areas of growth and new opportunities and proactively seek and propose solutions and ways to address those
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at different levels, both internally and externally, in a problem-solving and solution-driven manner.
Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills. Result oriented team player with client focus and excellent communication skills
Broad and comprehensive knowledge of Visa Europe and its products and services would be an advantage
Fluency in both Bulgarian and English is critical
