We’re looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to own and grow sales in Midland, TX, building strong customer relationships while expanding our footprint with new accounts.
Essential Functions
Own your territory – manage and grow existing accounts while aggressively developing new business
Be in front of customers – uncover needs, recommend solutions, and become a trusted partner
Hunt and grow – source new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals
Hit the numbers – meet or exceed revenue and margin goals with the support of experienced leadership
Sell solutions, not SKUs – recommend hose, pipe, and related products based on real-world applications
Problem-solve in the field – investigate customer challenges and deliver practical, value-driven solutions
Stay sharp – keep up with industry trends, products, and best practices
Collaborate internally – work closely with operations, customer service, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Stay organized – maintain accurate records, quotes, and customer interactions
Experience, Education and Skills
HS Diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
2+ years of industrial sales experience
Experience with sales of hose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, etc., or closely related products is preferred
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in industrial environments
Strong communicator who can build credibility with plant managers, maintenance teams, and buyers
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
