Accountabilities

  • Develop and expand business opportunities within an assigned territory by proactively identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new prospects.
  • Build trusted relationships with school administrators, educators, and decision-makers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Create strategic account plans through research, customer insights, and relationship development to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, funding sources, and solution offerings while ensuring successful deal progression and closure.
  • Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and forecasting data within CRM systems to support territory planning and business visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and ensure alignment throughout the sales process.
  • Track key performance indicators and territory results, providing regular forecasts, reports, and performance updates.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to product enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, revenue objectives, and territory growth goals.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
    • Proven experience in educational technology (EdTech) sales is required.
    • Prior K–12 teaching experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated success using consultative sales methodologies and structured sales processes.
    • Experience managing complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Strong ability to conduct virtual presentations, online consultations, and solution demonstrations.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities with experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and territory plans.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage sales data and market insights to drive results.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
    • Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital sales tools.
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% annually within the assigned territory.
