Sequel’s flagship product, the twiist Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System, launched in July 2025 for people with type 1 diabetes providing them with personalized diabetes management.  
 

Job Overview:  

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for selling the twiist portfolio of products to customers with a consultative approach and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide the best possible customer experience.  

Available shifts: One opening on the East coast and one opening on the West coast, 9 AM - 6 PM local time. 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell Sequel’s product portfolio, including the twiist device, to meet or exceed business development goals within the assigned sales territory. 

  • Field Sales Support: Collaborate with Territory Business Leaders and Clinical Diabetes Specialists within specific territories to drive new customer starts  

  • Outbound Sales Calls: Make outbound sales calls to customers who have shown interest in the twiist device, explaining product benefits and how twiist compares to competitors. 

  • Inbound Call Management: Manage incoming queue calls, addressing customer inquiries and providing information about products and services. 

  • Customer Needs Assessment: Work to understand customers' underlying needs or issues and provide tailored information and solutions. 

  • Benefits Communication: Communicate with customers about the benefits of Sequel’s products and pharmacy benefits. 

  • Customer Journey Management: Manage communication with customers throughout their product journey, ensuring a positive and professional experience. 

  • Salesforce Documentation: Perform all required documentation and data entry in Salesforce. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive products. 

  • Coordination: Coordinate with the field team, doctor's offices, and customers to ensure effective customer onboarding. 

  • Feedback and Improvement: Offer feedback on process improvements to enhance sales and customer experience. 

Minimum Requirements (Education and Experience):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Experience: 1+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer product related field. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales experience in a medical or health-related environment is preferred 

  • Knowledge of diabetes and experience supporting customers with diabetes is preferred. 

  • Experience supporting customers through the pharmacy channel is preferred  

  • Bilingual Candidates preferred 

  • Experience providing remote support, particularly in a regulated environment. 

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred. 

  • Prior B2B or B2C experience preferred.  

  • Demonstrates persistence and creative problem-solving skills to address obstacles and challenges to deliver successful outcomes. 

  • Delivers oral and written communications that make an impact and persuade their intended audiences.  

  • Effectively handles interactions at all levels and appropriately responds to sensitive situations.

  • Position remotely based, but requires occasional travel to home office in Marlborough, MA.
