Accountabilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive medical channel sales strategies, including territory planning, account segmentation, forecasting, and growth initiatives aligned with revenue objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Business Development Managers, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and professional growth.
- Drive new business acquisition and account expansion within dermatology, plastic surgery, and medical spa practices, with a focus on strategic and multi-location accounts.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with physicians, clinical leaders, and practice decision-makers to strengthen partnerships and support long-term business growth.
- Oversee account retention, customer engagement, and reactivation initiatives to maximize customer value and revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, education, customer success, and other internal teams to enhance customer enablement, product adoption, and market impact.
- Lead the execution of promotional campaigns, strategic programs, and industry events while ensuring measurable return on investment.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and CRM utilization to support data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
- Develop scalable sales methodologies, onboarding programs, coaching frameworks, and operational standards to support continued business expansion.
- Manage travel and budget responsibilities while maintaining compliance with company policies and performance expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in medical aesthetics, medically dispensed skincare, healthcare sales, or related industries.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading field-based sales teams across multiple territories or regions.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving revenue targets through effective team leadership, coaching, and sales strategy execution.
- Strong experience working with dermatology, plastic surgery, medical spa, or physician-based customer segments.
- Demonstrated expertise in account planning, territory management, sales forecasting, pipeline development, and performance analysis.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with marketing, education, customer success, and operational teams to drive business outcomes.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on talent development, performance management, succession planning, and team engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools, with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Customer-centric mindset combined with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 75%) to support field teams, customer visits, industry events, and business meetings.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the travel and physical requirements of a field-based leadership role.
- Clinical, medical, nursing, esthetics, or related healthcare experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $145,000 annually.
