Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Architect SME to for our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program, supporting DoW agencies.

As an ICAM Solutions Architect SME supporting multiple exciting initiatives your experience and skill will be relied upon to ensure GDIT maintains its leadership position in the ICAM space. You will be part of a team of solution architects and engineers to deliver current and emerging cybersecurity solutions to our customers in unclassified and classified environments across enterprise, global, cloud, prem, and tactical levels.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing business, technical, architectural, and engineering products and guidance to development teams, business groups, and customers for existing and new products and services, as well as executing day-to-day activities assigned to your areas of responsibility. For example, this may include engineering, development, implementation of COTS and GOTS products, technical plans, drawings, white papers, briefs, and leading and participating in technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also conduct analysis of alternatives on a variety of solutions to determine the best solutions to support overall business goals and objectives.

The position is remote with periodic continental U.S. and international travel.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Serves as an ICAM SME to a wide variety of activities and efforts internal and external to the program.

  • Perform highly advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.

  • Provides and applies advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.

  • Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and conduct product recommendations.

  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes.

  • Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.

  • May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.

  • May serve as a task or project leader (Not a people manager).

  • Develop plans, drawings, and briefs.

  • Participate in Scrum meetings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree.  An additional 4 years of experience mat be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum active Secret security clearance.

  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification, or higher.

  • Active Computing Environmental certification (CE) in job related duties such as Microsoft Cloud, AWS Cloud, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform Solution Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or similar.

  • 15+ years of related technical experience. 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

  • Experience with Azure cloud environments.

  • Experience with standard ICAM products, such as SailPoint, Radiant Logic, Microsoft, CyberArk, Okta, Ping, Xage, Beyond Trust, Saviynt, and similar products.

  • Extensive experience with ICAM standards and protocols.

  • Extensive experience in creating architecture solutions for DoW or federal environments.

The likely salary range for this position is $255,000 - $345,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
