Job Description:

   

Security Architecture & Design

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, NIST, SABSA, TOGAF).
  • Design secure solutions for cloud, on‑prem, hybrid, and applications.
  • Create security blueprints, models, diagrams, reference architectures.
  • Conduct architecture reviews for new and existing systems.

Risk Assessment & Threat Modeling

  • Perform threat modeling (STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK) on applications and infrastructure.
  • Identify architectural vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments on technology solutions and third‑party integrations.

Security Controls Design & Implementation

  • Define and implement controls such as:
    • IAM controls (RBAC, PAM, MFA)
    • Network segmentation & firewall policies
    • Data protection (encryption, DLP, key management)
    • Endpoint & workload security controls
    • Ensure security solutions align with regulatory requirements.

Security Governance & Standards

  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Create technical security requirements for application and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure secure development practices (DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, IaC scanning).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with:
    • IT infrastructure teams
    • Application/product teams
    • Cloud teams
    • Compliance & audit
    • Senior management
  • Communicate complex security concepts in business-friendly language.

Technical Skills

  • Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, VPN)
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • SIEM, EDR, SOAR
  • Secure application design & DevSecOps
  • Cryptography fundamentals

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication to executives and engineers
