Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Counterintelligence Analyst to join our team supporting U.S. Cyber Command. In this role, you will provide counterintelligence analysis, threat assessment, operational support, and mission integration to a Cyber National Mission Force J2 customer. You will help identify, assess, and communicate foreign intelligence entity threats, insider threats, cyber-enabled CI risks, adversary collection activities, and vulnerabilities that may affect cyber mission operations, personnel, information, systems, and mission partners.
The ideal candidate is a mission-focused counterintelligence professional with strong analytic tradecraft, experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community missions, and the ability to translate complex CI information into clear, actionable products for commanders, planners, operators, security professionals, and senior decision-makers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide senior counterintelligence analysis in support of CNMF J2 mission requirements, cyberspace operations, operational planning, force protection, risk assessment, and senior leader decision-making
Identify, assess, and characterize foreign intelligence entity threats, adversary collection efforts, insider threat indicators, cyber-enabled CI risks, and threats to personnel, operations, information, facilities, systems, and mission partners
Fuse all-source intelligence, CI reporting, cyber threat intelligence, security reporting, operational context, and mission partner inputs into timely and relevant CI assessments
Produce written CI products, threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, analytic notes, briefings, executive summaries, and rapid-response products tailored to operational and senior leader needs
Support CI-focused requests for information, threat vetting, mission risk reviews, operational planning teams, working groups, and intelligence synchronization forums
Evaluate adversary intelligence services, cyber actors, proxies, malign influence actors, collection methods, targeting patterns, elicitation risks, and operational TTPs relevant to cyber mission forces
Identify intelligence gaps and recommend collection, research, analytic, or coordination actions to improve understanding of CI threats
Coordinate with J2 analysts, security personnel, insider threat personnel, cyber operators, planners, collection managers, law enforcement, and interagency mission partners as required
Apply structured analytic techniques, IC analytic standards, and CI tradecraft to ensure analytic rigor, sourcing transparency, and confidence-based assessments
Prepare and deliver concise CI briefings to technical and non-technical audiences, including government, military, and contractor stakeholders
Support development of CI awareness materials, threat briefings, mission risk products, and other customer-directed deliverables
Mentor analysts and mission partners on CI threat recognition, analytic tradecraft, reporting quality, and operational relevance
Minimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly
Bachelor's Degree (Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, cyber, security, military, law enforcement, DoD, IC, or national security experience.
Experience conducting counterintelligence analysis, CI threat assessments, foreign intelligence entity analysis, insider threat analysis, cyber CI analysis, or CI support to operations
Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, Combatant Command, cyber, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, security, or national security missions
Strong understanding of foreign intelligence threats, adversary collection methods, insider threat indicators, CI risk factors, and operational security considerations
Experience researching, evaluating, and synthesizing reporting from multiple classified and open sources
Experience writing CI assessments, threat products, operational summaries, intelligence products, RFIs, or senior leader briefings
Familiarity with IC analytic standards, structured analytic techniques, and source evaluation principles
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to customer requirements, and produce high-quality products in a dynamic mission environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and common IC research/reporting tools
Travel up to 30% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting USCYBERCOM, CNMF, NSA, DIA, Army Cyber, Fleet Cyber, AFCYBER, MARFORCYBER, a Cyber Mission Force team, Combatant Command, or a J2/J3/J5/J39 staff
Experience with cyber counterintelligence, cyber threat actors, foreign intelligence service cyber activity, APTs, cyber-enabled influence, adversary infrastructure, malware ecosystems, or cyber actor TTPs
Formal counterintelligence training or experience as a credentialed CI agent, CI analyst, military CI specialist, or equivalent DoD/IC CI professional
Experience supporting insider threat programs, security investigations, threat vetting, CI inquiries, CI support to research and technology protection, or CI support to operations
Familiarity with tools such as M3, TAC, Palantir, Analyst’s Notebook, FADE/MIST, RMT, Intelbook, or comparable IC databases and analytic platforms
Experience supporting operational planning teams, targeting working groups, collection management forums, intelligence synchronization meetings, or commander’s update briefs
Knowledge of DoD CI authorities, reporting channels, OPSEC principles, security disciplines, and intelligence oversight considerations
Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Cybersecurity, International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field
Security Clearance Requirement:
