Job Description & Summary
Join our Cloud Security Engineering team as a Senior Associate to help shape the security of a global, multi-cloud platform. In this hands-on role, you'll design, implement, and support cloud security solutions, contribute to high-impact projects, and partner with stakeholders across the business and technology. You'll work closely with senior engineers to build out our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities while developing deep expertise in cloud security. - Assist in designing, building, testing and deploying cloud security solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments
- Contribute to and lead medium‑sized projects; support larger initiatives that improve security posture and operational processes
- Perform day‑to‑day security engineering tasks — design, develop python/scripts, troubleshooting, monitoring, and remediation — with appropriate oversight
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical/security controls and architecture
- Produce and maintain documentation, runbooks, test plans, and playbooks
- Support monitoring, logging, alerting, incident triage and remediation activities
- Participate in continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and cross‑team collaboration
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Approximately 2–4 years of relevant cloud security or security engineering experience
- At least one Cloud certification (preferably security) or demonstrated progress toward certification
- Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Strong communicator comfortable working in a complex, matrixed organization and engaging engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
Preferred skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- Intermediate to advanced experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Hands‑on experience with secure cloud design/configuration, networking
- Cloud security posture and risk management (CNAP/CSPM fundamentals); experience with Wiz or Prisma is a plus
- IAM and access control fundamentals (least privilege, RBAC, provisioning workflows)
- Vulnerability/threat identification and remediation workflows (scanning, patching, prioritization)
- Awareness of DevSecOps practices (CI/CD security, IaC hygiene, automation frameworks)
- Exposure to compliance and risk frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI) is beneficial
