This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Security professional to strengthen and evolve enterprise network security across complex and business-critical environments. In this role, you will help safeguard infrastructure by enhancing security controls, supporting strategic technology initiatives, and driving continuous improvements in network protection. Working closely with infrastructure, architecture, incident response, and cloud teams, you will play a key role in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable environments. This position is ideal for professionals who combine deep technical expertise with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to cybersecurity.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer, review, and continuously improve network security controls, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, VPNs, segmentation strategies, and defense-in-depth mechanisms.
  • Evaluate firewall rules, security policies, network flows, exceptions, and associated risks to ensure secure and compliant operations.
  • Support infrastructure projects involving connectivity, cloud environments, datacenters, network segmentation, and hybrid environment integrations.
  • Conduct technical investigations into security incidents, network events, vulnerabilities, and operational issues, providing effective remediation recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain operational standards, security documentation, performance metrics, and best practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, BlueOps, CSIRT, and external vendors to strengthen network security posture.
  • Contribute to hardening initiatives, attack surface reduction, and improved visibility across enterprise network environments.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Administration, or a related field.
    • Solid professional experience in network security, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, VPN technologies, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
    • Strong experience analyzing logs, reviewing security rules, and diagnosing network-related security issues.
    • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, proxies, load balancers, and hybrid network architectures.
    • Strong understanding of defense-in-depth principles, Zero Trust architecture, and secure infrastructure best practices.
    • Experience documenting technical procedures and supporting operational security improvements.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Previous experience in financial services or other critical infrastructure environments is considered an advantage.
