SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant

  • Lead and deliver S/4HANA MM implementation and migration projects across full lifecycle (from requirement gathering to go-live support)
  • Conduct business process workshops (AS-IS / TO-BE) to gather requirements and identify improvement opportunities
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP configurations
  • Configure and optimize core SAP MM components.
  • Perform FIT/GAP analysis, propose solutions, and drive enhancements across MM processes.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams (ABAP, integration) for custom developments and enhancements.
  • Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), and cutover activities
  • Ensure seamless integration between MM and other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP, etc.)
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure solution alignment with business objectives

Job requirement:

  • 8+ years of SAP MM/Procurement functional consulting experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
  • Deep hands-on configuration expertise across core MM components: Purchasing (PO, PR, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements), Inventory Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, and Material Master
  • Proven ability to conduct business process workshops and translate requirements into SAP solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage confidently at both business and IT leadership levels
