Manufacturing Engineer- Industrial Supply Chain

Airbus · Bangalore Area

Job Description:

As an Manufacturing Engineer- Industrial Supply Chain, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Industrialisation of detail parts at Suppliers

  • Drive APQP ME KBDs assessment

  • Validate tooling solutions of supplier and drive project schedule related to ME tasks.

  • Signing-off design data/drawings for built-to-print work packages as ME specialist.

  • Lead and participate in Industrial reviews.

  • Manufacturing Engineer Support for Airbus Supply chain

  • Coordinate and manage tech data exchange between several suppliers and stakeholders.  

  • Exposure to Airbus process and methods

  • Travel: 50% (domestic travel to suppliers in India)

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Industrial Engineering domain knowledge

  • Detail Part Manufacturing and/or aero-structure assembly and management experience. Experience in Helicopter assembly is preferable

  • Drawing creation and release process hands on experience. Good knowhow on 2D drawings.

  • Knowledge on GD&T preferably ISO 1101

  • Lean manufacturing concepts

  • Strong supply chain management experience

  • Large stakeholder management

  • Ability to influence

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Data Reporting
