Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create CAPEX and OPEX requisitions needed by site and monitor through approvals

  • Follow up on vendor delays in payments

  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.

  • Work with site leadership to determine discretionary purchases

  • Determines cost of operations by working to establish standard costs and collecting operational data.

  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.

  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

  • At times, position may be required to support operational activities in the DC or financial coordinator activities at other DCs than their home site.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years gathering and analyzing data.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Excellent data gathering, formatting and analytical skills. 

  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement principles and tools.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.

  • Ability to review, analyze, and understand issues regarding PO/Invoices

  • Good verbal & written communications skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

  • The ability to follows policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks correctly and on time

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Associates degree is desirable
