Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Weekly Sales & Operations Execution process, aligned with Bridgestone's overall strategy; determine priorities and goals.
- Analyzing Supply & Demand data to identify candidates for the Demand Control process.
- Creating Inventory targets by DC and working with deployment to maintain.
- Lead the relevant departments through the Demand Control process in support of strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitor and align Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) relevant to S&OE; Inform common understanding across business functions of current state of business, relative to targets and objectives.
- Identify and quantify relevant risks and opportunities to the operating plan by business unit.
- Actively engage senior leadership in decision-making process, especially across high-stake areas within their business units.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve results.
- Effective communication throughout the organization and ability to articulate difficult ideas and concepts through concise verbal and/or written communication.
- Results oriented, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making, and ability to identify key findings and implications.
- Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Demand Planning, Sales, Supply Planning, Logistics and Customer Service teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations is preferred.
- Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
- Must be well organized, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
