The Senior Manager, Supply Chain – Robotics & Deployment Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain readiness and execution of robotics and other key transformation programmes across the region, ensuring successful launches, scalable operations, and a smooth transition into business-as-usual ownership. This role partners closely with the global team and cross-functional stakeholders to shape programme scope, build sustainable processes, systems and organisational capabilities, and drive disciplined project delivery across multiple initiatives, locations, and functions. The position plays a critical role in delivering robotic NPIs and line extensions, providing post-launch hyper-care support, proactively managing risks and interdependencies, and ensuring all activities are executed with strong governance, transparency, compliance, and customer focus. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Leadership and Delivery 

  • Support the Robotics Lead in executing the programme scope, objectives, and delivery approach. 

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects across functions, locations, and stakeholder groups. 

  • Execute end-to-end project delivery management, including scope, schedule, cost, resources, communications, integration, and sub-team coordination. 

Launch and Operational Transition 

  • Deliver robotic New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and line extensions in line with regional business priorities. 

  • Lead hyper care support following robotic NPI deployments and ensure a smooth transition into operational ownership. 

  • Assess the impact of programmes on the end-to-end supply chain organisation and support readiness across affected teams. 

  • Support the development of sustainable and scalable processes to enable long-term operational success. 

Governance and Project Management 

  • Apply established project management methodologies and reporting tools to provide timely, transparent visibility of status across all organisational levels. 

  • Set up regular team meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and maintain strong alignment across cross-functional teams. 

  • Support cross-functional team activities to deliver aligned objectives on time, within budget, and in a compliant and reliable manner. 

  • Ensure key project documents, presentations, and data are maintained, accessible, and up to date. 

Risk, Compliance and Leadership 

  • Proactively identify programme interdependencies and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner. 

  • Lead the development and execution of mitigation and contingency plans to protect programme delivery. 

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, business acumen, and influencing skills to drive accountability and achieve programme objectives. 

  • Adhere to all applicable laws, policies, and compliance requirements, always maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. 

Key Qualifications & Experience 

Required Qualifications 

Experience 

  • +5 years leadership experience in end‑to‑end supply chain management within complex, multi‑country environments. 

  • Strong experience partnering with commercial leaders and influencing enterprise‑level decision making. 

  • Experience operating effectively within matrixed, global organizations. 

Skills & Capabilities 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into executable supply chain plans. 

  • Highly effective communicator and influencer at executive level. 

  • Resilient, decisive leader with the ability to operate in ambiguity and complexity. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior experience within MedTech and/or Orthopaedics sectors. 

  • Experience leading supply chain organizations across culturally and operationally diverse geographies. 

  • Track record of influencing global platforms, standards, and capabilities based on regional business needs. 

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€85,000.00 - €146,050.00
