DESCRIPTION:
Join an innovative organization in serving science as a Supply Chain Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this essential role, you'll support operational excellence across our supply chain network while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll manage complex supply chain projects, optimize inventory levels, analyze data to improve performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. This position offers the opportunity to implement effective solutions, support process improvements, and contribute to our operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the transactional activities related to division’s business strategy and success and taking pivoting role on communication between internal Sales and global planners to secure availability on time to fulfill customer demands and customer experience.
- Engage and develop operational effectiveness and optimization within SCM based on AOP KPI, CI and RPA.
- Manage SCM KPI such as Working Capital, DOS (Days of Supply), Scrap liability monitoring, OTTP
- Review stocking strategy and monitor replenishment thru historical demand and FCST in Bioprocess Supply Center
- Proceed Lot specific inter-company stock transfer order creation and management
- Monitor availability readiness and provide revenue achievement insight
- Coordinate intra-company stock transfers within Korea DC networks according to Daily MRP message
- PDH approver of Site extension with planning data upload for sales enablement thru Bioprocess Supply Center
- To improve Excess and Obsolete saving and hedging scrap risk, participating global inventory rebalancing program
- Regular house keeping on planning parameters
- Participating cross-functional business process improvement activities as required, especially focusing on optimization and utilization in Bioprocess Supply Center
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or related field
- People management experience preferred
- Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent preferred
- Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus
- Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced planning tools prefered
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL)
- Proven experience managing cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects
- Experience with demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical device) preferred
- Experience implementing process improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and metrics
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
