Let's start with the role

The role is responsible and accountable for meeting Kaizen's procurement requirements . The candidate should be an effective business partner with a background in transformation and hands-on procurement expertise, helping to establish the procurement function as best-in-class. 

As the business continues to experience significant organic growth , there is an increasing opportunity to transition toward a more mature and formalized procurement function . This role requires the ability to adapt to new ways of working, identify synergies across business processes, and uncover opportunities that deliver tangible value.  Your remit will span a broad portfolio of spend categories, including  Technology Software, Gaming and PSP etc.

 

As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
  • Develop and lead the end-to-end procurement process for all supplier contracts within specific categories; 
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring price, quality and service targets exceed business expectations;
  • Manage the sourcing cycle and build strong relationships with suppliers, operating in an environment with high tender volumes and multiple stakeholders ;
  • Generate savings concepts and define robust and appropriate savings strategies;
  • Promote innovation, bring in breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including technology, gaming office management, trading, finance, etc;
  • Evaluate processes critically and lead improvement initiatives where appropriate
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of AI-powered tools to optimize procurement workflows and enhance efficiency. 

 

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years procurement experience within a fast-paced, high-growth industry (Technology, FinTech, or Telecoms preferred); 
  • Bachelor's degree  in Business, Engineering, Science, Finance, or other relevant discipline;
  • Experience in CIPS would be a plus;
  • Industry experience in B2C Gaming Operators will be considered a plus;
  • Strong leadership qualities with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, capable of driving cross-functional alignment and communicate effectively across all organizational levels; 
  • Highly skilled in cultivating and managing strategic, commercial relationships with external organizations and key suppliers to drive long-term business value. 
  • Experience driving change initiatives, including process and systems improvements, while constructively challenging the status quo ;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to operate successfully in a cost-focused environment;
  • Prior experience sourcing strategic  Tech, Gaming and/or PSP vendors will be considered a plus.
