We have a fantastic opportunity within our Purchasing Team for a Junior Category Manager in Training! The Junior Category Manager in Training role will participate in an established 12-month program involving rotation through all category teams within the Kogan.com Purchasing Team to support building expertise in category management principles, best practice and category ownership.
During each of their category rotations, the Junior Category Manager in Training will work with the Head of Product Pillar to manage assigned categories, support in sourcing projects, partner with suppliers, support excellence in category performance and optimal range for customers, and product performance metrics.
Upon completion of the 12-month program, the Junior Category Manager in Training will be equipped with the skills required to apply and be considered for a Junior Category Manager position within the Purchasing Department.
This opportunity would be a great fit for a recent graduate who is looking to start their Purchasing / Buying career, an Assistant Category Manager / Buyers Assistant who is ready to step up or a candidate with a commercial background who is looking to grow their eCommerce experience and transition into a Purchasing / Buying career.
