The Foreign Trade team is seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Intern to support operational and data-driven initiatives within North America Trade Operations. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade, data analytics, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

The intern will support critical business activities related to import data management, data reconciliation, broker coordination, and data quality improvement initiatives. In addition, the intern will contribute to ongoing analytics and process optimization projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and data accuracy across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the collection, validation, and reconciliation of import and trade-related data from multiple sources.
  • Assist with data gathering, cleansing, and analysis activities to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to obtain missing documentation and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving data integration, reporting processes, and operational workflows.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with ongoing data and analytics projects supporting business reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic business objectives.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
  • Interest in supply chain, logistics, international business, or operational analytics.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation activities.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and documentation practices.

The U.S. hourly range for this intern position is between $21-26.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
