What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Analyze software and hardware problems and coordinate effective, practical solutions.
  • Perform system software upgrades, including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination.
  • Ensure availability and reliability of systems and application environments through proactive and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate and divisional policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure IT applications effectively meet organizational needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external stakeholders on matters related to IT applications.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines and work schedules.
  • Work effectively in a team environment that includes both infrastructure and application specialists.
  • Successfully execute IT projects deployed locally or initiated by corporate groups.
  • Maintain strong awareness and appreciation of internal and external customer needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide IT technical expertise and collaborate with various site functions, including Engineering and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Perform detailed operational analysis of data collection systems and control software.
  • Prepare testing and validation documentation, including the execution of hardware and installation activities for manufacturing systems where applicable.
  • Lead the development and management of external vendor technical resources to support solution implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot control systems to optimize operational performance.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams, providing updates, reports, and project evaluations.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for internal and external users across various systems.
  • Lead design reviews to ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure testing and change control activities comply with corporate policies and standards.
  • Oversee integration of hardware, software, communication protocols, and user interfaces to ensure seamless system operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
  • Understanding of GAMP 5 or SQA (Software Quality Assurance) or equivalent knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills include the ability to translate technical information into basic understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diversity of people at an individual and team level.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
