As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work on large and complex Healthcare IT projects with hardware, software, platforms and services that help customers automate and streamline operations along the imaging value chain. 

The Senior Financial Analyst- Digital & Automation (D&A) Customer Service position will have responsibility for reporting, forecasting and monitoring the service performance of Business Line Digital & Automation (D&A).  The position will prepare budgets and forecasts, perform complex variance analysis, evaluate key financial and operational metrics, maintain and enhance several ongoing monthly and quarterly reports, and support a variety of financial and business management customers in a matrix business environment. The position will participate in ensuring conformance to IFRS requirements and may be involved in commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, and M&A related analysis. This position reports to the NAM D&A Controller.

 Specific Areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the accuracy of books and records; Lead and oversee the development of the accurate completion of key financial reports; interpret data and communicate results within Performance Controlling and to Sr. Management.  The analyst will help to develop and maintain key metrics, scorecards, reporting packages and presentation materials as needed
  • Lead discussions of financial analysis at complex levels including budgeting, financials and expenses in performance comparisons allowing decision makers to improve their business performance
  • Month end closing activities (JV entries, flash commentary, PO management, cost accruals)
  • Provide financial expertise, including buyout recommendations, dispute resolutions, to all stakeholders and promote best practices and continuous improvement in the business
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Mangers, Education team and Business line controller to determine pricing strategy on D&A contracts
  • Manage service backlog and coordinate with project managers, equipment financial analysts and colleagues from different departments on project status to allow for revenue recognition

  • Create and maintain various reports to better analyze P&L, contract bookings and billings (including 3rd party billings) to decrease time and increase accuracy and efficiency by utilizing digitalization tools such as Datawarehouse, Power BI, etc.
  • Ensure P58 readiness and smooth transition for go-live
  • Support the professional development of less experienced Financial Analysts
  • You will be working with SAP, SAP Business Objects, Jedox, Power Bi, Qlik etc.

  • Quality and Timeliness of Analytics
  • Forecast Accuracy
  • Customer orientation and responsiveness in a matrix environment
  • Service reporting and forecasting process enhancement
  • Financial performance of D&A CS
     

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and related area(s)
  • 5-10 years in relevant field, balanced against relevant Siemens experience
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Effective communicator with team members and with Senior level management
  • Proficient in working with an ERP system, downloading data, and creating database driven models, visual analytics tools experience a definite plus.  Expertise within the Microsoft Office suite of products and Power BI is preferred
  • Dedicated, attention to detail, and have a propensity towards quality and continuous improvement
  • Self-starter, capable of bringing projects to a successful conclusion with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in the software industry is a plus

The base pay range for this position is:

$107,060 - $147,213

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
