Media Producer, Customer Care Creative (CCC)
About the Team and Position
We're building something different at Carvana — a Customer Care team that communicates through compelling, high-quality media. We need a Media Producer who's hungry to own creative projects end-to-end, move fast, and make work that actually lands. If you thrive when given ownership, embrace AI as a force multiplier, and care deeply about the craft, this is your role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- End-to-end production — concept through delivery. Video, photography, and graphic design for Customer Care initiatives: training content, email templates, event materials, digital signage, recognition programs, and more.
- All three production phases independently: pre-production, production, and post-production.Event coverage — photography and videography with same-day or next-day turnaround.
- Departmental branding: digital signage, seasonal visuals, cultural moments.
- Production archives and handoffs — organized, documented, seamless.
- Other duties as assigned
How You’ll Work
- Lead projects with minimal oversight. Develop shotlists and storyboards, manage timelines, partner with stakeholders, and deliver work tied to real business outcomes.
- Move forward, not sideways. When requirements are unclear, narrow scope and ship — don't wait for perfect clarity.
- Use AI as a creative accelerator. We actively use generative AI for scripting, ideation, image generation, and editing assistance. We expect you to integrate these tools naturally into your workflow.
- Collaborate with a peer media producer to balance workload and push each other's creative thinking.
- Connect your work to outcomes. Understand how media drives employee engagement, retention, and recognition — and make content that reflects that.
What You Should Have
- 3–5 years of experience in video production, graphic design, and photography — ideally in corporate communications, internal comms, or a creative agency.
- A strong portfolio showing range across video, design, and photography. (Required with application.)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and CapCut. DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus.
- Comfort with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for creative workflows.
- Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for collaboration and project management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Design, or equivalent experience (preferred).
- You should arrive ready to own your work from day one. We're not looking for someone who waits for fully-formed briefs — we're looking for someone who shapes the work.
