Help Desk Manager (DAI, Financial)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Help Desk Manager (DAI, Financial) based in United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT support leader to oversee mission-critical help desk operations supporting enterprise financial systems in a federal environment. The role combines team leadership, operational oversight, and customer support excellence to ensure reliable service delivery for remote users. You will collaborate closely with government stakeholders while guiding support personnel, improving service quality, and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations. Working within a highly collaborative and fully remote setting, you will contribute to the success of complex Oracle Financials and DAI initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals with strong leadership skills, DoD experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support.

 

Accountabilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the help desk by supervising, mentoring, and supporting technical personnel responsible for remote user assistance and training.
  • Organize, coordinate, and monitor support activities to ensure high-quality service delivery and consistent operational performance.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules and personnel rotations to maintain effective help desk coverage and timely response to user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to align support priorities, resolve issues, and ensure seamless communication.
  • Oversee remote-access support processes while promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide leadership throughout operational activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet project objectives and service expectations.
  • Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities and improve user adoption of financial systems.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to service management, issue resolution, and operational excellence within a secure federal environment.
  • Requirements

    • U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance or higher.
    • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience supporting and managing large-scale Department of Defense programs utilizing Oracle Federal Financials.
    • At least 7 years of direct experience supporting DAI financial and accounting operations within the past 10 years.
    • Experience leading project teams or possession of an Agile certification to support coordination with government stakeholders.
    • Strong knowledge of DAI modules, including Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Procure to Pay, Oracle Time and Labor, OAS, and Order to Cash; additional Oracle Financials experience is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience utilizing AI tools and integration technologies.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Financials integration points, reporting tools, data analysis, and ITIL methodologies is preferred.
    • Relevant certifications in DAI, Agile, Oracle Financials, or related disciplines are considered a plus.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
