This position must base in Taichung City .
Candidate must be FAA, EASA license holder and one year experience as Quality Inspector for Aircraft Maintenance
Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure safe operation, and conform to the highest quality and safety standard in accordance to the Airbus Helicopters standard and customer expectations.
Primary responsibilities
Responsible for quality control technical inspections for in-progress and final maintenance, repair, modification, rework and overhaul of aircraft, its components, and component parts that related to the continuity of an aircraft airworthiness.
Responsible or lead troubleshoot problems on aircraft systems.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed in accordance with latest revision of manufacturer’s Maintenance Manual or Technical Instructions.
Signing an aircraft maintenance release certificate to certify that the maintenance work performed has been completed satisfactorily and in accordance with the procedures described in the aircraft manufacturer’s Maintenance Manual.
Ensure all required inspection is duly completed, documented and defer defect in accordance with MEL, if applicable.
Perform quality and safety inspections of ground support equipment, test equipment and tools used in aircraft maintenance.
Perform special aircraft and component technical inspections, e.g., ASB, SB, RDAS, AD and etc.
Inspect and correct maintenance forms and records used in the performance of maintenance work to verify compliance with appropriate reference and other publications.
Provide technical guidance, instruction, and interpretation of written instructions and procedures to aircraft technicians to ensure high quality work.
Supervises and direct the work of a number of Aircraft Mechanics and Helpers or those of less experienced personnel.
Requires to fly with aircraft as flight engineer to perform maintenance check tasks, e.g., vibration check and adjustment, autopilot system function checks, check after maintenance activity or event to verify the its proper function.
Responsible for ordering spare parts required for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, verify modification status applicable to the aircraft.
To perform works at locations/sites assigned by base manager/supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assists base manager/supervisor to coordinate and supervise daily/routine hangar activities and aircraft maintenance tasks.
Checks and verifies those TMDE calibration/repair reports, ensures they are conform to IS/manufacturer's standard and signs “Serviceable label tag” after satisfied.
May perform the duty and function of technician provided the work performed is signed by another qualified Quality inspectior.
