Janitorial & Facilities Management Tech – 1st Shift
Job Summary
Janitorial & Facilities Management ensures the reliable operation of the organization's facilities. This job family provides janitorial functions and performs preventative maintenance along with repairs to company facilities, which may include light maintenance and light carpentry. This job family may also manage contractors that provide facility maintenance services.
Responsibilities
Perform routine janitorial tasks including general housekeeping and cleaning of all areas of the facility such as offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and breakrooms.
Clean, sanitize, and restock toiletry of all restrooms.
Maintain production control rooms and restocking of supplies.
Empty trash in assigned areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum the common areas in all buildings / office areas / production control areas.
Assist with general facility support tasks, including and updating signage, boards, and workplace displays.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
Qualifications
0-1 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift
Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents

Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on basic and routine assignments
Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under close supervision
All work is reviewed for accuracy
Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
