Position Summary
This role is based at our 'Ward Hill' site based in Haverhill, MA, supporting our Laboratory Chemicals Division, which manufactures reagents and chemicals used for a breadth of applications from life sciences research to drug discovery and manufacturing. The Packaging/Labeling Technician I is responsible for performing various tasks related to the repackaging and labeling of products. This role involves working collaboratively with the production team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
A Day in the Life
Packaging Technicians support the safe, accurate, and compliant execution of repack operations across a variety of process areas. Daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing material and product handling, including movement, staging, and organization of bulk materials, intermediates, and finished goods
- Handling and verifying components such as containers, closures, labels, and packaging materials
- Repackaging chemical products, including powders and liquids, in both regulated and non-regulated environments
- Operating within controlled environments such as gloveboxes and hoods
- Utilizing production equipment including pumps, scales, sealing tools, and related systems
- Executing labeling, verification, and fulfillment of standard and custom bulk orders
- Supporting material flow, order readiness, and movement of work through operational processes
- Participating in cross-functional activities aligned with business needs and operational priorities
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of 1 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or related environment
Preferred:
- Experience in a cGMP or regulated environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Ability to follow written procedures with strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills for weighing and counting
- Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong manual dexterity and hand coordination
- Willingness to learn and perform multiple functions across all process areas
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods of time
- Strong manual dexterity and hand coordination required to handle small containers, closures, labels, and tools with precision
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions such as sealing, labeling, crimping, and weighing
- Ability to work in a warehouse and regulated manufacturing environment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
- Some degrees of PPE required, including safety glasses, gloves, gowns, respirators, or lab coats
- Work environment may include varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and odors

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $14.63–$21.95.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
