Competencies and Requirements

• Grade 12

• Experience in a Workshop/Maintenance/Engineering environment.

• Experience in a Boiler environment is advantages

• Ability to learn (Trainability)

• Willing to work overtime on short notice

• Good state of health

KPA & Responsibilities

• Enough coal in bunker for present and next shift.

• Correctly commissioned boiler.

• Standard supply of steam to production.

• Standard supply of steam to production; possible deficiencies in steam generating process foreseen and prevented.

• Observes all work practices in area of responsibility

• Routine checks as prescribed by procedural check sheets

• Monitoring of steam supply to production – no drop in pressure, therefore no production losses

• Motivated, well trained and informed team member
