Job Details:

• Pay based off experience

Monday and Tuesday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Wednesday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Rotate every other weekend 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM

• Must have 1 year work experience in industrial maintenance

Job Description:

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.

• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.

• Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handles emergencies.

• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.

• Complete appropriate paperwork and reports

• Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.

• Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

• Able to perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision.

• Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision

• Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity.  It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.

• The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.

• Lifting will also be required, and depending on the department could be up to 50lbs.

Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.

• Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.

• Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
