Assistant Hourly Trainer Opr PR06, Sanitation 3rd Shift - Hope, Arkansas
Job Details:
This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and/or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Train team members on sanitation procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards
- Demonstrate proper cleaning methods and safe use of industrial sanitation equipment
- Reinforce compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Observe performance and provide coaching, feedback, and hands-on support
- Identify training gaps and partner with leadership to improve processes
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in sanitation, manufacturing, or food production
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and workplace safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a trainer, team lead, or leadership role
- Preferably has experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding employees
- Knowledge of USDA, FDA, or food safety regulations
- Bilingual skills (as needed)
- Experience working with sanitation chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment

Other Hiring Criteria:
- Accepting Rehires: Yes
- 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.
- Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
- Must have at least 3 months work experience in the past 12 months.
Compensation: $18.75/hr + $2.00/hr shift premium
