Summary
Our Facilities Specialist is responsible for making sure that our buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. Facilities Specialists are accountable for services such as safety, security, preventative and reactionary maintenance to ensure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work. They are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards, including Wyld Food Safety standards.
- Assist with equipment and facility repairs and monitor equipment performance; maintaining adequate equipment inventory
- Maintains facility grounds, physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
- Navigate and utilize CMMS platform for tracking, logging, and completion of all tasks
- Schedule Vehicle Maintenance including but not limited to; Track and document all vehicle maintenance (oil changes, coolant, tire pressure, battery life, lights etc.), changes and additions.
- Consistently and regularly test and check all systems, fluids, hardware and software
- Report safety and quality concerns regarding warehouse facility, equipment, and inventory to supervisor and/or manager
- Assist in performing repairs, upgrades, and maintenance for buildings and equipment including, but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plastering, drywalling, plumbing, and HVAC repair work
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business need

- At least 1 year of related experience in facilities and fleet maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some experience in building maintenance preferred, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Must have some experience in fleet maintenance including small engines, heavy equipment, and light trucks
- Must have previous experience as a problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment who possesses a high attention to detail, prioritization, time management and organizational skills with a positive, goal-oriented attitude
- Must possess or be willing to acquire a Forklift Operator certification and an OSHA 30-Hour certification, or have the ability to complete OSHA 30 certification
- Computer Skills: Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred
- Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
- Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sites
- Ability to maintain and manage confidential information
- State regulations require all applicants must be 19 years of age or older
- WorkSafe, ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred
- Will be required to submit to a background check
- Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check
Compensation
As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $25-28.95/hr, overtime, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO, 401k, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
