We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team.
Operational Responsibilities
Operate light vehicles to transport employees, visitors, and materials as assigned.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Complete trip logs, mileage, and fuel records accurately.
Comply with site traffic management plans and designated routes.
Assist with minor logistical tasks such as document or parcel delivery.
Support site coordination for pick-ups and drop-offs.
Safety Responsibilities
Attend daily pre-start meetings.
Perform visual safety checks before driving and promptly report defects or mechanical issues.
Adhere to site traffic rules, speed limits, and defensive driving practices.
Use seatbelts and ensure passengers do the same.
Comply with EPSA’s safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Immediately report any unsafe conditions, near-miss incidents, or accidents to your supervisor.
Environmental Responsibilities
Comply with EPSA’s environmental policies and practices.
Avoid unnecessary idling and fuel wastage.
Follow site procedures for the safe disposal of used oils or vehicle waste materials.
Ensure operations are conducted with minimal environmental impact.
Qualifications
Secondary education certificate or equivalent.
Valid Light Vehicle Driver’s License.
Training in mine safety procedures.
Minimum 5 years of driving experience, preferably in mining or remote projects.
Defensive driving certificate (DDC), TSCZ.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Reference checks will be conducted.
Alcohol and drug testing applies as per company policy.
All applicants will be subject to an assessment test.
All applicants will be required to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination.
