Product Activation Manager, Go-To-Market, YouTube

The YouTube Business Central Strategy and Operations team is responsible for leading global cross-functional strategic initiatives to drive the growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy and operations for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Product and business strategy leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing new trends in the industry, evaluating market-entry options, driving business plans), operations (e.g., running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with executive leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help engineers, product managers, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users.

In this role, you will be a key partner to YouTube APAC Partnerships teams and leadership, helping them to bring our Creator, Emerging Experiences and Community (EMCO), and shopping products to market, and advocate for creators, creator third-party providers and merchants helping to bring their feedback to product teams to ensure it meets the needs of all of our creators and partners.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • Experience working with executive management and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with product management or defining product strategy.
  • Knowledge of the creator ecosystem or e-commerce operations, and the customer and engaging contexts in which they operate.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, and be a self-initiator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position and influence executives.
  • Excellent business acumen with problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
