Senior Director, Strategy, Core
The Core and Experiences team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure such as privacy, safety, and security for Google’s products. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across Alphabet. We do this with AI increasingly at the center of how we think and operate, and with a continued focus on building the right foundations to set us up for Google’s future.
In this role, you will be the bridge between infrastructure, security, and developer tools. You will own the long-range and annual strategy planning process and translate high-level objectives into actionable roadmaps that empower Google’s product areas to innovate at scale. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Core leadership team, synthesizing massive amounts of data into insights that influence critical investment and trade-off decisions.
