**Merchant** Onboarding at Uber is where the journey begins, and your role as a **Merchant Success Specialist** is to make sure that first step is seamless but also set in reality. In our Delivery business, you are the architect of a three-sided marketplace, connecting **Eaters** with their favorite **Merchants** and **Couriers**. You are the gatekeeper of quality, performance and the first human connection for those looking to build their livelihood on our platform. This isn't a role where you wait for a playbook; it’s one where you help us find a better way to move partners through the funnel faster without sacrificing safety or compliance. ### **What You’ll Do** - **Create and support** our merchants with their menu creation, ensuring their offer is appealing for consumers and puts the best products forward to improve menu conversion. - **Build** marketing and promotion campaigns with our partners to deliver the best return on investment and boost our merchants’ turnover. - **Analyze** funnel data on a weekly basis to spot trends in drop-offs in food delivery and suggest practical, efficiency-boosting changes. - **Communicate** with clarity and empathy across multiple channels to turn a merchant's or courier's confusion into a clear plan of action, keeping the delivery ecosystem moving. - **Collaborate** cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Support teams to resolve technical blockers and coordinate smooth launches for new partners in a hyper-local environment. - **Adapt** to shifting priorities and evolving delivery policies in a dynamic environment where you must balance speed with accuracy. ### **Basic Qualifications** - **Currently enrolled** in an end of year Masters degree program (expected graduation close to internship end i.e 2026 or early 2027). - **Proficiency in** English and French (written and verbal) with the ability to synthesize complex information into simple terms. - **Solid skills in** Google Sheets or Excel, including experience with basic data manipulation like pivot tables. - Available to start on **6th July 2026** for a full-time, 6-month internship. - Open to exploring full-time employment opportunities with Uber following the internship, should an opportunity arise. ### **Preferred Qualifications** - **A "Go Get It" attitude** with a proven track record of taking independent action to solve problems. - **Systems thinking** mindset—the ability to see how a Merchant onboarding delay impacts the balance of the entire three-sided delivery marketplace. - **Basic knowledge of SQL** or a strong interest in learning how to query data to drive insights. - **Resilience** and the ability to stay calm and productive when market dynamics shift or volume spikes. ### **Let’s ride together** **Ready to ride?** Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
