Job Description
Visa Marketing Services is the strategic marketing arm of Visa that partners with issuing financial institutions, fintechs, and co-brand partners to drive cardholder engagement, acquisition, and loyalty. We combine Visa's global expertise, proprietary data insights, and cutting-edge marketing technology to help our issuer clients build winning campaigns that deliver measurable business outcomes. As part of Visa Marketing Services, you will work directly with issuers across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to design and execute marketing strategies that grow their card portfolios, increase spend and deepen customer relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to be a strategic partner to our internal teams and issuer clients across Saudi Arabia.
This is a unique opportunity for a builder who understands marketing systems, has deep expertise in digital marketing, and is passionate about empowering teams with AI and automation tools.
Your core mission will be to leverage Visa Marketing Services programs and the Visa platform to design, guide, and help build winning marketing strategies and campaigns for our issuer partners. You will revolutionize how our marketing team engages with banks, fintechs, and financial institution clients to drive cardholder acquisition, activation, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Issuer Partnership & Client Engagement
Serve as a strategic marketing technology advisor to issuer clients, understanding their business objectives and translating them into effective campaign strategies
Partner with banks and financial institutions to design end-to-end marketing programs that drive card acquisition, portfolio activation, spend stimulation, and cardholder retention
Collaborate with issuer marketing teams to implement best-in-class campaigns leveraging Visa's platforms, sponsorship assets, tools, and data assets
Present marketing technology solutions, campaign performance insights, and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders
Build strong relationships with issuer partners, acting as a trusted advisor on marketing innovation and digital transformation
Digital Marketing & Martech Leadership
Lead the design and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across, paid media, social channels, and programmatic advertising
Develop audience segmentation strategies, personalization frameworks, and customer journey mapping to maximize campaign effectiveness
Oversee campaign analytics, reporting dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks to deliver actionable insights to internal teams and issuer clients
Stay current with digital marketing trends, emerging channels, and platform updates to maintain competitive advantage
AI & Marketing Innovation
Leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to transform marketing effectiveness across the following areas:
Generative AI for Work Efficiency: Leverage large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools to streamline day-to-day workflows, accelerate research and analysis, automate repetitive tasks, summarize complex information, draft internal communications, and enhance overall productivity across marketing operations
AI-Powered Campaign Optimization: Leverage AI for intelligent bidding strategies, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), send-time optimization, and real-time budget allocation across channels
AI-Driven Data Analysis & Insights: Use AI tools to automate reporting, uncover patterns in campaign performance, and generate strategic recommendations at speed
Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI governance standards
Educate and upskill internal teams and issuer clients on AI capabilities and practical applications in marketing
KSA Market Expertise
Demonstrate deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, including consumer behavior, digital adoption trends, and the evolving payments landscape aligned with Saudi Vision 2030
Navigate the KSA regulatory environment, including awareness of SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) guidelines relevant to financial services marketing
Understand the unique characteristics of the KSA market, including high smartphone penetration, a young tech-savvy population, and rapidly growing e-commerce and digital payments adoption
Develop culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with Saudi consumers while aligning with local customs, values, and communication preferences
Build relationships with local stakeholders, agencies, and partners to enhance Visa's marketing services footprint in the Kingdom

Qualifications
Required:
Arabic language proficiency (written and spoken)
8+ years of experience in digital marketing, martech platforms, campaign delivery, and analytics
Demonstrated experience with AI/ML applications in marketing, including hands-on use of generative AI tools, predictive analytics, or marketing automation with AI capabilities
Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels including mobile, paid media, social, and programmatic advertising
Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign measurement, attribution, and data-driven decision making
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders and client executives
Experience working in a B2B or B2B2C marketing capacity, preferably supporting client marketing programs
Preferred:
Experience in the financial services, banking, or payments industry
Knowledge of the KSA market, GCC region, or Middle East marketing landscape
Familiarity with Visa platforms, products, and marketing services
Experience leading marketing technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives
