The organization, which serves as the philanthropic arm of Visa, works with partners to support underserved people and communities.
The Grants Analyst supports the execution and operational excellence of Visa Foundation’s global grantmaking portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director, Grants & Partnerships, this role is responsible for a wide range of grants operations, portfolio monitoring, back‑office processes, reconciliation of Visa Inc. charitable contributions, and communications support.
The Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that grantmaking activities are accurately tracked, compliant, well‑documented, and effectively communicated, enabling the Foundation to operate efficiently and deliver measurable impact aligned with its mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Grants Management & Operations (30%):
- Support all aspects of grantmaking operations and administration, from pre‑award tracking through post‑award monitoring and close‑out.
- Maintain periodic grant tracking across systems, including grant status, payment schedules, amendments, and reporting milestones.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine grantee inquiries, including reporting requirements, payment status, and documentation needs.
- Coordinate responses to internal data requests, compliance reviews, and audit inquiries.
Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting (30%):
- Maintain and update records of prospective, active, and closed grantees, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Support the collection, validation, and analysis of impact and performance data from grantees.
- Assist in monitoring grant outcomes against program objectives and identifying trends, risks, or insights across the portfolio.
- Prepare portfolio‑level summaries and dashboards to inform program strategy, leadership updates, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Support internal and external reporting requirements, including annual reports and impact communications.
Back‑Office & Financial Coordination (20%):
- Support reconciliation of Visa Inc. charitable contributions in coordination with other internal teams.
- Assist with tracking grant payments, confirmations, and documentation to ensure alignment between Foundation records and corporate giving records.
- Support process improvement efforts related to grants systems, documentation, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and controls.
Internal & External Communications Support (20%):
- Support the Visa Foundation leadership team with presentations, briefing materials, reports, and program updates.
- Assist in drafting clear and accurate content related to grantmaking activities, portfolio insights, and impact outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to help elevate the Foundation’s work through internal updates, external communications, and storytelling efforts.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of grant data used across communications materials.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Degree in Finance, and or Business, or Economics highly preferred with ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
Subject- matter expertise and/ or work experience within philanthropy, particularly within grants management, related to economic development, gender, small business and equity.
Experience working with laws, guidelines and best practices governing grantmaking at US-based private foundations.
Ability to integrate technology into work, including use of database or grant management systems (Benevity). Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams)
Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, self-starter, and an exceptional work ethic.
Ability to work both independently and as a strong collaborative team member.
Exceptional organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail.

The estimated salary range for this position is $109,700.00 to $ 170,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.Work Hours

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
