Job Summary :
At Jiostar network, we are looking for a deeply passionate and enthusiastic person who can help drive the leadership agenda of the cluster and lead the content strategy and consumer insight teams from the front.
About the team:
The programming strategy team is responsible for market research, consumer insights, and programming strategy for the channel. The team is making plans and strategies for the channel, based on various quantitative and qualitative inputs. The team is also responsible for driving channel GRPs and market share using data, competition tracking and analysis. They drive the market data to create a well-balanced schedule of original shows and special programming. This team collaborates closely with programming, Fiction and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives. By developing strategic content roadmaps and the team plays a critical role in enhancing the channel’s viewership, driving audience loyalty, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Fiction Strategy
- Support forward story planning for current shows, including creation of long-term story tracks
- Coordinate with the fiction team on short-term story planning and execution
- Assist in developing new show concepts and plots from the initial stage
- Contribute to building engaging characters to improve audience connect
- Track and compile weekly consumer feedback across fiction and non-fiction shows
- Share insights to support content and programming decisions
- Watch episodes regularly and maintain detailed story trackers
- Provide inputs for ongoing story shaping and future track development.
