Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Material Handler to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations in out Newport, DE site. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of support duties including packaging of HPLC columns, in-process quality checks, and core warehouse functions such as kitting, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package HPLC columns with precision and care, ensuring compliance with product standards.

  • Perform in-process quality checks to verify product integrity and compliance.

  • Execute required system transactions for packaged products, maintaining accurate records.

  • Support general warehouse operations including kitting, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.

  • Handle materials physically and administratively related to receiving, storing, and distributing parts, supplies, and equipment.

  • Participate in manufacturing support activities such as assembling, filling, measuring, mixing, and basic product testing.

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to meet quality standards.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records according to company procedures.

  • Input and retrieve data using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as needed.

  • Adhere to safety and quality protocols in all areas of work.

Work Schedule: 40-hour work week; Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM EST

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification is a plus.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environment.

  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be computer literate, i.e. Microsoft Office. SAP experience is a plus.

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $22.42 - $35.04/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
