The Completion of a variety of basic and/or manual tasks required in the processing and packaging of products within specified parameters and in accordance with the MECP framework and standards and Standard Operating Procedures.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

ü  Ancillary packaging equipment such as:

•         Mixing

•         Proving

•         Slicing

•         Labelling

•         Case sealing

•         Palletizing / De-palletizing

ü  A variety of tasks that involve working a for example, end of line, typically performing highly predictable actions in a given sequence, with no scope for judgement or discretion.  Associated skills are basic and quickly learnt.

ü  Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety regulations.ü  Completion of relevant operational documents / records.ü  Follow relevant SOP’sü  Quality control and quality assurance resultsü  Maintain a high standard of cleanliness on assigned equipment.ü  Report Non-conformancesü  Adherence to key KPI’sü  Ensure efficient operation.ü  Apply good manufacturing principles in the relevant work area.ü  Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work area.ü  Ensure set hygiene standards are always adhered to.ü  Participate effectively in the Invocoms sessions.ü  Participate and or identify non compliances to be addressed using the SGA process.ü  Application of manufacturing Excellence Methodology i.e., MECP, 20keys.ü  Participate in all MECP activities.

 

Job Requirements

 

• Matric (Pure Maths and Physical Science) or equivalent qualification
• Good Communication skills
