We are looking to add a dedicated and talented Quality Control Inspector III to our team. In this position, you will work closely on an integrated team of Cesium managers, engineers, and other cross-functional personnel. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements.
  • Inspection of raw materials, EEE components, cable assemblies, printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), cable assemblies, machined parts, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
  • Inspection using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs/CMMs
  • Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes.
  • Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required. 
  • Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
  • Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.
  • Other QC duties as assigned.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or occupational training in a technical field. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience or training required. 
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with microscopic visual inspection.
  • IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.
  • Experience with ERP and PLM software systems. 
  • Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.
  • Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry.
