JOB PURPOSE

Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchical superiors, the accounting group manager supervises and organizes the accounting operations within his/her scope, in compliance with the deadlines set.
He/she contributes to the continuous improvement of his/her area and ensures compliance with internal and external rules.
He/she manages an accounting team in order to achieve the objectives set by his/her superiors.

Job Description

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES Accounting - Oversee the accounting operations of its perimeter - Analyze and justify the accounts within its scope and make any necessary restatements - Close accounts (social, tax, pension) - Draw up tax and social security declarations, where applicable - Ensure proper execution of accounting interfaces - Set up and monitor monitoring indicators for its scope, and implement corrective actions where necessary in collaboration with its hierarchy - Act as a privileged contact for internal and external stakeholders in accounting and tax matters - Participate in regulatory and standards monitoring - Participate in internal and external audits of its scope, in collaboration with its hierarchy - Participate in inventory analysis and variance identification - Contribute à continuous improvement of its perimeter (business tools, procedures, projects, etc) Management - Ensure that resources (means, human resources, etc.) are correctly sized for the activity, in collaboration with line management - Support and monitor the team(s) who him is/are (integration, skills development, etc.) - Participate in the application of HR policy (performance, compensation, etc.) in collaboration with Human Resources teams - Manage, monitor and control the working hours and absences of the team(s) assigned to it (hours worked, vacations, calendar, etc.), using business tools where necessary RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Ensure compliance and deadlines for accounting operations in business tools and for financial reporting - Identify and alert in the event of deviations or risks - Support and ensure the performance of your team and scope of responsibility Know, apply and enforce internal and external financial, tax and compliance procedures and rules PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) Bac +3 to Bac +4 level in accounting and/or 5 years' experience desirable significant experience SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) - General knowledge of accounting - General knowledge of taxation - General knowledge of IT tools and information systems - General knowledge of management - Intermediate level of English (B1) Behavioral skill(s) - Interpersonal skills - Analytical skills - Synthesis skills - Responsiveness - Adaptability - Rigor Organizational skill(s) - Discretion
