Accounts Payable Associate

This position is full-time (Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm) on-site at our New Hyde Park headquarters location (3333 New Hyde Park Rd., Suite 304, New Hyde Park NY, 11042). 

JOB OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AP Associate to join our fast-growing Dental Service Organization. As an AP Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transitions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding organization within the dental industry. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process invoices, credit memos, and vendor payments accurately and timely using Sage Intacct.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Contact vendors by phone and email regarding payment status, account updates, billing questions, and outstanding issues.
  • Support acquisitions by reaching out to vendors to update billing information, payment methods, remittance details, and account records.
  • Answer incoming department phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining vendor records, organizing documentation, and assisting with departmental projects.
  • Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Facilities, and other departments to ensure smooth vendor onboarding and transitions.
  • Maintain accurate vendor information and support the setup of new vendor accounts.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years of accounts payable, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented.

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 annual salary

Salary Range
$55,000—$65,000 USD
