Join Our Team as an Accounting Assistant
We're on the lookout for an Accounting Assistant to become a part of our Finance and Corporate Services team. In this role, you'll collaborate with seasoned professionals, supporting a wide range of clients with key accounting and compliance tasks. Your Mission
Your journey with us is yours to shape. As our new Accounting Assistant, you will:
- Accurately process purchase and sales invoices within our accounting systems, supporting client accounting activities.
- Assist with bank transactions, accruals, prepayments, and maintain fixed asset registers.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to confirm the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Keep accounting files organised and current, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, aiding in the preparation of management accounts.
- Support the team during audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
- Work with colleagues across the Finance and Corporate Services team on general accounting and administrative tasks.
- Learn from experienced professionals while gaining practical, hands-on accounting knowledge in a real-world environment.

About You
We're seeking someone who:
- Holds a basic accounting qualification (such as A-Level Accounting, a bookkeeping qualification, or an equivalent).
- Has up to two years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
- Understands fundamental accounting concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Communicates clearly and professionally in written and spoken English.
- Is organised, detail-oriented, and values accuracy in their work.
- Can manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to a collaborative team.
- Brings a positive, professional approach when interacting with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
